Armor Dyes

Does anyone have a list of the current available armor dyes and for what pieces they apply? I was excited that black was going to be available in this patch only to hear that it is only available for boots?

The other black dye pieces will be available in the next build. There was an issue with its filters.

I discovered a big with the armor dyes earlier.
If you use a dye with a disguise it changes the disguise, but not you actual armor colors.

I also found a bug with armor dyes. If you're wearing a piece of dyed armor, and unequip it, sometimes the armor loses it's dye.

and this also...

Different armor styles seem to display colors a bit different so plenty of room to play around with them. As I gain skill will post more.

If you have colored armor don't use any disguises...if it wears off it also takes your bright armor colors and you end up with good old plain pieces. Don't know if it should be like that or not but if it should then it doesn't make much sense.

It's fairly buggy at the moment and regardless the character designer at the beginning gives way more color choice flexibility than the dye system so far. Expect it to change radically at some point but keep in mind Cosmetic Styling is probably the lowest priority right now.

How does one go about dying their armor?

Once you have the dye you just double click it to apply

This is not Indigo...

Died secondary part of assassin pants with Indigo. Rest is black primaries.

I'm not sure what I would call that color. O.o It's between lilac and violet.

Unfortunately as this is still alpha a good amount of dyes will vary based on different armor types because of a color palat of some kind that's build into the base item and thus changes the color to a weird color as you try to dye it.

Sorry about that, as Repop progresses those issues will most certainly be ironed out.
