November was a wild month for the Repopulation. The biggest news of the month was the remaining backers getting into alpha testing. While that was largely successful, it also accentuated the fact that we have outgrown our current alpha server as the server buckled at times under the heavier load. December is expected to be wilder still, with the addition of multiple new servers, and the current server being recycled as the test server. We expect to have the new servers online next week. Once the new servers are ready we'll be moving into Alpha 4, which will be the final stage of alpha. After the servers have been properly tested the NDA will be lifted.  We'll cover those events in additional detail as they happen. But for now, let's take a look back at the progress made in November.

A lot of the work in November was preparation for what will be a large influx of new players in December. This included a hefty dose of content, feature refinement and bug fixes. There are many new housing and city locations, and many locations which were previously empty are being filled with content. When Alpha 4 begins players will be able to choose between the traditional starting cities or two new cities, and we did most of the leg work for that this month. A new character versioning system was implemented which allows us to update character data or give bonus rewards easily based on when your last login was.

We also spent a lot of time on our bot detection code, and server optimization. Our philosophy with bots is that once the game launches it is not really beneficial to ban characters unless they already invested a significant amount of time into the characters, otherwise they can just create a new free account and you need to detect them all over again. So we've focused our attention on reducing the benefits of botting. In addition skill gain penalties and stoppage, botters will see their harvesting results capped in quality, and a complete shut off of loot. These detection schemes will continue to be refined and tweaked as we move closer to launch.

We introduced a new cloning system in November. As you explore the world you will gain new cloning locations. When you die you will be given the choice to respawn at of one or more of the nearest locations which you have registered with, or at your home city. In the future you will also have the option to respawn in friendly player cities if you died near them.

Nations can now distribute deeds to players to allow them to create houses inside of player cities. Rogue Nation members now have their own military ranking system. Character and NPC models now support facial animations. Ability tooltips are largely improved, and much more. You can read the complete build notes below.
 

Adversarial Camps

  • Added numerous new Adversarial Camp and Point of Intrigue rule sets.
  • Added a new type of tiny adversarial camps which are currently being used in the new Plymouth Control Center to demonstrate camps. These will not grow too large in size or expand too much.
  • Added Adversarial Camps and Points of Intrigue to many locations in the Kaavo region. There are too many locations to note here.
  • Added new camp configurations exclusively for Tralus Plains.

  • Raymead in Doma Highlands: Malva Barcas have set up a Camp in this narrow valley.


Audio

  • Racers now support variable sounds based on your RPM.
  • The Mysterious Cave, Plymouth Towers instances, and Pontoc Med Lab are now tied into the music system.
  • Automatic weapons and Rifles now have alternate sound effects for different weapon shells.
  • Flame throwers have new sound effects from Clyde Shorey.
  • Sniper rifles have new sound effects from Clyde Shorey.


Combat

  • Loosened up the targeting cone when using action mode with a melee weapon. This is intended to make it easier to battle moving mobs with a melee weapon in action mode.
  • Melee combat received a 5% boost in damage.
  • Increased baseline dodge chances for light and medium armor. Added in diminishing returns after 18% chance. They are harsher based on your armor type.
  • The dirt/snow/water splashing effects shown when you hit the ground in action mode or in some FX should now do a better job of detecting what type of ground has been hit.
  • More NPC abilities support skilling up of different defensive types than was previously the case.


Dens

  • Chindi in Doma Highland: some rather tough Jabberbulls, Mubarks and Drakes have taken residence in the area... including a couple of Ultra Raid Bosses.
  • Raban Pass has been overrun by Fragaria Achilleas, and a few Morgensten Cacti.
  • There are reports of an elite OWON OSC Sniper operating somewhere in the Desolation Gulch, northern Kalazar.
  • Rogue troops have set a fairly large Den in Ingall's Pass.
  • A Malva Barca swarm now calls Raymead home, and has set up a Den in this area.
  • Lingmaa, Okolats and Rhinocs have snekead into the forest surrounding the Housing Region in Parst Pass, Jenu Plains.
  • A Malva Barca swarm has set up a den in the Hollow Trail.
  • Some Lesoo from Aza Dunes have moved into the small Lommedal valley in Yatokya, Doma Highlands.
  • A Hokfig herd has settled in Beggar's End, Jenu Plains. Jabberbulls and Drakes have followed them into the area.
  • A gang of Jabberbulls, lead by a Scourger, now claim Clyssi in Jenu Plain as their turf.
  • Quite a few Lesoo have moved into Morrigan Plains in Wailing Chasm.
  • Some Fragarias have taken root in Prenshaw, Jenu Plains.
  • A Lesoo Overlord from the Onyx Eye Clan has lead his group of Experienced Hunters into the northern side of Red Gate Woods in Kalazar, eyeing the Drake pack that dwells on the southern side
  • Fragaria Achilleas have invaded Linview in Doma Highlands, setting a Den here.
  • Thick-furred Rhinoc have begun to be seen in larger numbers in the Avalanche Expanse area.
  • "Nice Area", said the Helltyr Chieftain upon reaching Malfrow. "We are taking it."
  • A swarm of Acra Barcas has claimed Balekeep in Jenu Plains.
  • OWON Troops have advanced from the Crackling Tundra into eastern Kalazar, taking position in The Narrows.
  • Hokfigs, and Lesoo behind them, have moved into Wilde Wick in Jenu Plains.
  • A rather large Malva Barca swarm thinks Valston is a nice place to live, and have set their Den there along the Utøysti trail.
  • One seriously Massive Drake and its pack have set their nest in the central valley of Shackleford, Kalazar.
  • "Faolan Hollows ain't bad, either, save for those pesky Morgensterns" said the Helltyr Marauder. "We'll take it too."
  • Elite OWON OSC Snipers have taken position among the Morgensterns that cover Nettle Patch in Kalazar.
  • A large herd of Okolats has chosen the Dinde Goronha plain in Thunder Bryn, Jenu Plains, as their grazing field; some Hokfigs and small Acra Barca swarm share it with them.
  • A Massive Drake has lead its pack to settle in Serenity, Jenu Plains.
  • Some lesoo and their rhinocs have arrived in Southern Chasm, following the Hokfigs that graze there.
  • OWON forces have moved in Shaker Hills in eastern Kalazar.
  • A Mubark herd has taken posession of the plain in Ducatti, Kalazar; a few Drakes from Espanto also roam around the area.
  • A Lesoo Overlord and his clan have taken residence in Wrynt Woods, Jenu plains.
  • A large clade of Drakes have made Espanto their home; there are also a few prowling Jabberbulls.
  • Hokfigs and Lesoo have expanded towards Drals Woods in Jenu Plains.
  • Lesoo hunters of the Onyx Eye Clan, lead by two Lesoo Rhinoc Masters, have tracked a large gang of Jabberbulls into the Vanth vally in Kalazar.
  • Nywisp in Doma Highland: Rogue Troops and Achilleas now have an area-wide Den here.
  • "Very well," said the Massive Drake, "Olcan Thorn is ours, then."
  • A medium-sized FPR squad has sneaked from the Ouroli Ravine into Corburn, Doma Highlands, and have set up their position in the Furudal valley.
  • Lingmaa, Rhinocs and Okolats have taken residence in Tasuil Rise, Jenu Plains.
  • Jabberbulls and Drakes have set up a Den in the lower plain of Crête de Chagrin in Doma Highlands.
  • Lesoo have arrived in great numbers to Maple Mires in Jenu Plains.
  • Hokfigs and Malva Barcas have found the Böcekvadi canyon in the Hasanat Hills to their liking, and have set a Den there.
  • OWON elite soldiers have expanded into Xerus, southeastern Kalazar.
  • OWON forces have strengthened their position in the Badlands, Kalazar, bringing along a swarm of Crawlers.
  • "Oooh! Oooh!" said the Protective Hokfig Bull, "we call dibs on Rendall Gulch!"
  • "Sheesh," sighed the Massive Drake. "There goes the High Tier neighborhood..."
  • Sluagh Trail in Doma Highlands now has an area-wide, highest-tier Den of Mubarks, Drakes and Achilleas.
  • A pack of Lingmaa and an Acra Barca swarm, along with a few brown Okolats, now inhabit the Tasuil Rise in Jenu Plains.
  • Nothing said the Morgensterns as they took over Causeco. They are a grim bunch, all thorns no words.
  • Morgenstern and the occasional Drake from Shackleford have taken over Kyoto Prison in southern Kalazar.
  • Added Arrvor and Raxin dens to the Aoss Gardens area in Tralus.
  • Fragarias now have a small Den in the narrow Talon Valley, in the Doma Valley area of Doma Highlands.
  • Malva Barcas now have an area-wide Den in Krachester, Doma Highlands.
  • Malva Barcas and Fragaria Achilleas now have a Den in the Sanguine Expanse in Doma Highlands.
  • Some of Rhyldan's toughest Drakes and Mubarks have moved into Gwyll Valley in Doma Highlands, making it an all-friendly area.

  • A small Mubark herd shares the Hales Corner plain with a Drake pack and some Jabberbulls.
  • Okolats, commanded by a Royal, have overrun Arco Agulla in Jenu Plains
  • Unha Barca have swarmed over the narrow valleys of Bales Ridge, in northern Kalazar.
  • A large gang of Jabberbulls, including a Plague-Bringer, have decided to make Whimsy Fields in Jenu Plains their home.
  • A mubark herd has taken residence in the northern half of the Slaughter Slopes in Kalazar, while a drake pack has settled in the southern half.
  • Hokfigs, Jabberbulls, and some mutated creatures from Pestilence have set a Den areound the Tränen See lake in Doma Highland.
  • Lesoo from the nearby Aza Dunes have set up a Den in Newhill Pass, Doma Highlands.
  • Okolats have swarmed into Bowrock Prairie in Jenu Plains.
  • Lesoo and their Rhinocs have moved into The Backwoods in Wailing Chasm.
  • Jabberbulls, Mubarks and Drakes now share ownership of the Lone Tree valley in Kalazar.
  • Jabberbulls have migrated en masse to Wyrmn Grove, Jenu Plains.
  • Two large Unha Barca swarms have changed their mail address to "Northern slope of the Illuyanka - Chaoston, western Kalazar."


Engagements

  • The Wreckage Site engagmeent in Mistden has been reactivated. This is an OWON vs. FPR PvP engagement that involves recovering wreckage from a downed aircraft before the other side can obtain it. Bonus points are rewarded for PvP kills.
  • The Camp Taak mine detection engagement/minigame now teleports to the nearest spot where they should grab the tablet for mine detection so they will be on spatial zone of the vehicle to protect.
  • Improved the rewards of the Metal Casing Needed engagement in the Plymouth Control Center.


Graphics

  • Characters and NPCs now support facial animations, and will now blink as well as move their lips while displaying chat bubble dialog.
  • Tweaked shadow shaders.
  • The male and female walk cycles were updated as well as the conversation listening animations.
  • Added screen texture to 4 console models.
  • Added 3 light models.
  • Added 141 new ability icons.
  • Added 43 new inventory icons.
  • Added a new arena model which is used in the player created tournaments test area.
  • Added the correct billboard signs for the City Hall and Tech Plaza in Freedomtowm.
  • Updated the male and female hair texture maps.


Housing

  • Parst Pass in Jenu Plains now has a fairly large PvE housing region.
  • You can now create houses near Souza Spring in the Kalazar Mountains.
  • Iye Peak now has a large housing area which allows Rogue players to participate in the PvE housing features.
  • Reserved a very large section of The Skillet for player housing.
  • Hasanat Hills in Doma Highlands now has a PvE Housing region in the Shahrzād plateau.
  • Rumsey Hollow in Kalazar now has a fairly large PvE Housing region.
  • Added new PvE housing space in Holden Hill, deep in the Kalazar Mountains.
  • Crête de Chagrin in Doma Highlands now has a fairly large PvE Housing Region in the Longsheng Plateau.
  • There is a smallish section reserved for player housing in the Tuuleuss Mountains in Jenu Plains.
  • Fayrwind Ravine in Jenu Plains now has a large-ish PvE Housing region.
  • A player city can now be created in Devilrose Bluff.
  • Valston in Doma Highlands now has a fairly large PvE housing region in the Roligdal plain.
  • Indup Canyon in Jenu Plains now offers a rather large PvE housing region.
  • The Communications Center building has been rescaled and should now rest better on the ground.


Inquiries

  • Did an inquiry pass in the Plymouth Control Center. NPCs should have a better selection of questions and answers available. The area also supports local directions, and the like.
  • Added new inquiry questions covering regional topics.


Items and Fittings

  • Characters who are detected as being bots will no longer have any chance at loot generation.
  • Weapons now support an alternate firing sound if they wish to have a different from baseline sound effect for that weapon style.
  • Melee weapons received a damage boost across the board.
  • Added a number of new rare items from pick pocketing/thievery.
  • Type E Fittings (Health/Endurance) now only work in Head/Body/Arms/Weapon slots.
  • Crafted armor shells can now be traded.
  • Many items have new icons. This is primarily installation based crafted items or components, pharmaceutical components, injections, and chemistry components.
  • Health/Endurance modifiers for fittings received a significant reduction. If they are not the primary stat so it cannot be stacked to absurd numbers.
  • Type G Fittings (Stealth/Run Speed) now only works in Body/Weapons/Legs/Feet slots.
  • Health/Endurance modifiers are now in exact health/endurance instead of percentages.
  • Adjusted the fitting Energy Booster stats for secondary/tertiary attributes.
  • Pistols are now holstered on your side rather than your back.
  • Added new armor shells into the mission, engagement, and loot systems.
  • Adjusted the sheath placement of certain melee weapons.
  • Improved the stow position of some Shockgun visualizations.
  • Saw-tooth Blades now have slightly different stats than long swords.
  • Added a new tip which covers Fitting Points, and how to remove fittings.
  • The base value of Anti-Freeze and Cellulose has been decreased.
  • Added new types of armor and clothing shells.
  • Added some basic clothes to tailoring vendors.


Miscellaneous

  • Achievements now support rewarding players with new cloning locations.
  • Home city cloning points are listed last, with local cloning points listed first. Some players were quickly clicking the top entry and winding up far away from their destination as a result of selecting the home city previously.
  • The Target facing code was modified so it wouldn't switch your player back to another target from the delayed server call, but will still work properly if the call originated from the server.
  • Introduced a character version system. This system allows us to upgrade character data in the event of any significant data changes down the road. It is currently being used to give players cloning points to all of the exploration points they had previously explored.
  • Added a new /buff command which will for the entirety of the 14.11.1 build. It allows players to buff a skill of their choosing (or more than one) to grandmaster, give them some credits and training points to buy abilities. Feel free to take advantage of this as your characters will be getting wiped when the new servers go online next week. We expect this to be the final wipe of testing, but reserve the right to wipe if the need arises.
  • Gave everything a security pass, tightening up on any potential cheats or hack holes.
  • Vastly improved performance of threat detection inside of Plymouth and Freedomtown.
  • Valid name checking is now a bit more strict. This primarily checks for more curse or derogatory terms than was previously the case.
  • You are now allowed to have a single hyphen in your character's name.
  • Corpses will now be removed near instantly after the last piece of loot or harvested items have been extracted from them. This is to avoid corpse clutter and make it easier to identify corpses of interest.
  • Improved speed hack detection.
  • Made adjustments to how NPCs and players hold certain weapons.
  • Rest areas should now handle lag more reliably.
  • Updated the Death tip to indicate how the new cloning point system works.
  • Improved several of the loading tips, bringing them up to date with more recent information.
  • Improved the information on the Basic Movement tip.
  • Added new loading screen tips which cover split energy pools, adversarial camps, points of intrigue, and inquiries.
  • Optimized NPC resource consumption in the Plymouth Control Center.
  • You will only be able to create 4 characters per account after the wipe.
  • You can now clone at 12 different locations in the Freedomtown region.
  • Added five cloning points to Timbertol.
  • Made some adjustments to the conversation animation used in the waking up stage of the tutorial.
  • Sprinkled additional cloning points throughout the world.

  • Added a Mission Feedback form where players can leave a rating and comments. This GUI is trigged at random for 20% of the completed missions.

  • New FPR Combat Mission “Large Espanto Drakes”: problems in Espanto just got bigger...
  • New FPR Mission: Scorched Gorge Outpost: "Judair Blues". This mission is only available from doing mission "Urgent Equipment Recovery". Returning a helmet camera is a quick easy task, right? ...and if you are really helpful you could end up finding out a bit more about Professor Szaranev.
  • New OWON combat mission: Newhill Pass: "++Goal: Lesoo Trespassers". The Lesoo seem to have tamed a couple of Mubark to follow their instructions. Please eliminate this threat.
  • New OWON combat mission: Kilmer Valley: "Clear Calprates from Kilmer Valley". Intel has been reporting calprates in Kilmer Valley. That's what we would expect – they like rocky regions. Probably gorging on the placebo plants there too. So strip them out! Timbertol's resources are for us, not local animals.
  • New FPR Combat Mission: Olcan Thorn:"Olcan Thorn Drake Nest": A nest of drakes thrive in Olcan Thorn. A cull is needed.
  • New FPR Combat Mission “Onyx Queen”: Remove the breeder, stop the breeding.
  • Added new rare rewards from combat missions.
  • New FPR Combat Mission: Balekeep:"Acra Barca Control": Control the acra barca population of Balekeep by performing a large cull.

Nations

  • Once a plot is placed down in a nation when you enter it the plot will now ask you if you are a mayor (or have mayor rights in the nation) if you want to create a housing deed. The deed can then either be used or given to another play to claim the plot.
  • Nation Housing Plots no longer can be destroyed, removevacated must be used instead as it removes a housing plot placed down by a city. Players will need to vacate/store if they no longer want to use the housing plot.
  • Storing a housing plot in a nation will create a new vacated plot in its place.Added many new areas to place cities in Mount Ash.
  • Added city plot regions through Tralus Plains.
  • Converted nation city plot sections in Fal Sept to use the new style cities sections.


NPCs

  • Introduced 5 new Acra Barcas. This is a new region specific variety of the large insects can be found exclusively in the Jenu Plains.
  • Introduced 5 new Unha Barcas, the Onyx version of the Barcas, which dwell in the Kalazar Mountains.
  • Added NPCs and missions to the Tralus Solar Plant. This city is not yet fully populated, but has enough NPCs to allow missions to be run and to restock on supplies, craft, etc.
  • Changed numerous NPCs in the Plymouth Control Center to use a more standardized spawn area rather than being posted anyplace, due to the size of the base.
  • Added a Lost and Found Manager to Thicket Overwatch, allowing more missions to be completed there.
  • Tweaked NPC perception settings. On average NPCs have a slightly shorter aggro range than was previously the case. This is not universal, however, some species or profiles are unchanged.
  • Increased the recharge time of NPC Knockback abilities by 2 seconds.
  • Corporal Myers in Freedomtown is now a bit more vocal. If you ask other NPCs about him they will note that although he's on the daywatch, he gets posted all over town.
  • Created a new type of Barca: Malva Barca. There are currently five variations of Malvas.
  • Reduced the duration of achillea's paralyzing thorns.
  • Corporal Bonstein, a Rogue military supplies vendor, is now stationed in Sept Falls.
  • Reduced the effectiveness of NPC healers.
  • Reduced the effectiveness of the Vulture's Acid Spray damage shield ability.
  • Sergeant Brewen has swapped shifts with Private Diesel as he now finds himself under investigation and can now be more easily found in the lower part of Thicket Overwatch, keeping a look out, any time of the day or night.

  • Scarred Setlangs had their attack time doubled.
  • All of the standard trainers can now be found in the Plymouth Control Center.
  • Vendors of all types are now available in the Plymouth Control Center.
  • Added numerous trainers/tutorial NPCs to Thicket Overwatch.
  • Added a Lost and Found Manager to Plymouth Control. This allows a number of collections to be turned in.


Pets

  • The pet ability bar has all new icons.
  • Tweaked the maturation rates of tamed pets so they aged more quickly after Young Adult.


Player Created Tournaments

  • The tournament test area (/help tournament to teleport there) now features the new arena model. In the future you'll be able to place this model into your cities to be able to support tournaments in your city.
  • There is now a re-clone point in the tournament test area.
  • As a bonus for using the tournament testing system players will receive a small but permanent boost to their Survival skill the first time they visit this area.


Player vs. Player

  • Under the new cloning point system, Rogue Nation characters who maintain a good relationship with OWON or the FPR will now be able to spawn in better locations than was previously the case, often in the cities. If you allow your OWON or FPR faction to drop, however you will lose access to those points.
  • Rogue Nations have new military vendors which offer military rank perks similar to the OWON and FPR perks.
  • Rogue Merchants who sell military perk items can now spawn through the Control Point system.
  • Added an OWON Bounty Collector to the Plymouth Control Center.
  • Added a PvP Bounty Collector to Thicket Overwatch. He is in one of the military tents.
  • Tralus Plains now has one protected Rogue City in the Tralus Solar Plant, surrounded by a large amount of contested territory.

User Interface

  • Added Left click rotation to the camera and tweeked a variety of different things to make it perform fairly standardly for most MMO controls.
  • Abilities which create an opening should now display the opening created in the tooltip or info card.
  • You can now remap the middle mouse button and buttons 4/5 on your mouse (if you have them).
  • Added new feature for creating aliases and managing these via a GUI. You can also put these on the ability bar or call them by their name ( # ) on the command line. In the alias command you can use variable "%T" which is replaced by the name of the targeted npc or player.
  • Added the Hints to the Game Database as they are being moved over to that interface.
  • You can now use %T in alias commands, which will be substituted by targeted player name.
  • Hint system has now been moved over to the Game Database. It will open a tip in the Game Database Window now. The window also has been put on the Action Mode ignore list for now.
  • Abilities with usage times will now display the amount of time in which you can be interrupted in the tooltips or on info cards.
  • Combat ability tooltips and info cards will now display the percentage bonus in relation to your weapons base damage, if available.
  • Endurance restoring abilities will now display the amount of endurance restored in tooltips or info cards.
  • Dragging of fittings from sockets has been properly disabled if the fitting is in an item in your bank.

  • Skill Imprinting Window now opens with the Skill Imprinting Statation Window. I updated the hint with a bit of additional information and to reflect this change.
  • The Full Map and World Map will not take you out of action mode aiming automatically. You can still click the middle mouse or bound action mode keys to toggle it on or off, but the assumption is that some players simply want to see the overlay while they are moving.
  • Disabled over the shoulder cinematic views while in action mode because they were preventing action mode users from being able to select dialog responses without switching.
  • New style ability icons should now fill the icon containers completely.
  • Ability tooltips and info cards now include more information on any buffs, debuffs, damage over times, or heal over time effects that the ability may cause.
  • Updated the Disabling Trap Hint to mention the rings as it seemed to be a point of confusion listed in the forums.
  • Both your first and last names need to be at least three characters to be valid. You do not need a last name, but if you set it to anything it must be at least a three character word.
  • Ability info cards now adjust their size more appropriately based on the information provided.


Vehicles and Mounts

  • Quality Cruisers can now take up to five vehicle upgrades, to bring them in line with other high quality crafted vehicles.

World

  • Populated Baldy Station in the Bald Forest with NPCs and missions. The first time you visit this location you will gain a small but permanent increase to your Logging skill. This small base features a bounty collector, medical supplier and military supplies.
  • Gave a pass on all of the content near the Shed. This includes moving around spawn points, resource spawners, and fixing some points that were underground after recent terrain changes.
  • The Plymouth Control Center has been completely revamped. Many new NPCs and mission opportunities are now available. The area surrounding it has also been made more newbie friendly as this area is now a starting city.
  • The Fisher's Hut now features an exploration point which will reward players which grants a small but permanent boost to their Fishing skill when visiting it for the first time. In addition to this it now features a respawn point.
  • Added an exploration point, cloning point and achievement to the Obsidian Bastille. This fortress is located in the center of Mount Ash and is a Rogue complex. The first time you visit this fortress you will receive a small but permanent boost to your Combat Tactics.
  • You will now receive a small but permanent increase to your Installations skill the first time you visit Souza Springs in the Kalazar Mountains. You will also receive a cloning point.
  • The first time you visit Fort Laredo you will receive a small but permanent boost to your Automatic Weapon tactics skill, and a new cloning location.
  • Props and lights added to Plymouth Control Center.
  • Cleared brush off the roads in The Sevens.
  • Yatokya Valley in Doma Highlands: added name to the Lommedal Valley, usually invaded by Lesoo from Aza Dunes.
  • The pub in Plymouth Control Center is now considered a rest area.
  • Chindi in Doma Highland: added name to the Zanni's Riddle crossroad.
  • Snow can now fall in most parts of Kaavo if the weather conditions are right.

  • The first time players visit Fort Bondsteel in the Kalazar Mountains they will gain a small but permanent boost to their Siege Tactics skill. Players may also clone at this FPR military base.
  • You will now receive a small but permanent boost to your Shockgun Tactics skill the first time you visit Camp Krachester, along with an achievement and cloning point.

  • Reduced the NPC difficulty in the area surrounding Thicket Overwatch. It still gets significantly tougher once you reach the Elkar near the Subterranean Thicket entrance, but there's quite a bit of entry level content, as well.

  • Ingall's Pass in Doma Highlands: added name to Ingall's Pass proper, sometimes blocked by FPR and Rogue troops.

  • Added bank terminals, skill imprinting stations, and crafting stations to the Plymouth Control Center.
  • The first time players visit Kaavo Hold they will receive a small but permanent boost to their Metalworking skill.
  • Did a good amount of work on Timbertoc. This includes NPC pathing changes.
  • Newhill Pass, Doma Highlands: added names to the Lavveiskille and Høyveiskille crossroads, which Lesoo have claimed as their territory.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue with Training Grounds instances looping even if nobody was inside of them.
  • Removed the flickering issue on from the pink, blue and orange palm tree species located throughout the world.
  • Fixed the skin weighting on the female light upperbody armor set.
  • Fixed an issue where male and female models faces would distort when making them tall or short due to the new facial skeleton system that was implemented recently.
  • You can now attack training bots without needing to set the Neutral Is Hostile flag in action mode.

  • Fixed an issue with the Riffraff Bandits. They had no creature category set which was causing some issues in the harvesting code.
  • Fixed a typo in the Recruit Training tutorials.

  • Fixed a bug which was preventing Thrown Weapon Tactics from increasing.
  • Resolved some problems with a Numbskull camp that would spawn through the area wide engagement along the Hole-Plymouth Trail. The NPCs were previously visible but could not be attacked.
  • Filled in a sinkhole in Hales Corner.
  • Stitched a rather large terrain seam in the newbie area around Freedomtown. It was on the back side where it couldn't be seen unless you went to the corner but was fairly big.
  • Fixed the female face morphs, you now have much more control over the way the female looks at the character creation screen.
  • Loveseat Production is fixed and now uses the correct branch.
  • Fixed the player getting stuck falling up/down terrain.

  • Fixed some spawn points in the Freedomtown newbie areas which were underground after some terrain changes and bugging out the NPCs when they spawned.
  • Couch Assembly is fixed and now uses the correct branch.
  • Added Canopy to the list of Components that the Canopy is, this should fix 23 installations outputs

  • In the event that a player somehow doesn't have their tutorial exploiter checker (to limit progression to a certain point in the tutorial) removed when they exit the tutorial, it will be removed the first time they use a teleport.

  • Marked some trees as BLOCKONLY near the Shed, so that NPCs wouldn't spawn or try to walk on their branches.
  • Repaired a problem with the Defense Conscious debuff which many melee abilities place on targets. It was erroneously giving a bonus to the NPC/Players damage when it should have been reducing it.

  • Resolved a problem where some trees in the Pipeworks were incorrectly flagged, and generated resources were spawning on their branches.
  • The computer console in the first room of the OWON tutorial has been rotated so it can be seen more easily.
  • Individual weapon resistances, melee and firearm resistances now appear in the Character Sheet.

  • Corrected a problem which was causing the wrong version of Nurse Davis to have missions generated for her. This would send players to see Nurse Davis, who then would not accept the turn in because she had a different NPC ID.
  • Tamed pets no longer take longer to mature after they have matured in that session as opposed to their initial time periods.
  • Fixed a stealth issue caused by entities across seams.
  • Recipe: Composite Table Assembly is fixed and now uses the correct branch.
  • Fixed a bug related PvP hostilities and favorable factions for Rogues, which was preventing some players from being attacked properly in PvP.
